Safh is a company that values good relationships and people’s well-being. We are a socially and environmentally responsible organization with our own factory.
Based in the city of Recife, capital of the State of Pernambuco, Northeast Brazil, we are located near a poor - but culturally rich - community. Safh seeks to integrate itself as harmoniously as possible with the surrounding social environment. We support the work of local community leaders to provide support in developing projects and social facilities in the fields of culture, job creation and education.
Most of our employees are recruited in the local community. Here, they are trained and receive support to achieve their professional goals. They also take part in the company’s profit-sharing scheme.
Safh complies strictly with Brazilian labour laws and prioritizes employees’ health and safety. Our factory is regularly inspected by doctors and occupational safety specialists.
Coupled with the preservation and improvement of the environment, Safh is committed to treating process water and recycling production waste. Safh also chooses suppliers that share the same values regarding social and environmental responsibility.
